A deep breath I took

A deep breath I took,
when the heart did not stop pounding
and the moon never showed up.

A deep breath I took,
when I heard nothing but the noisy blur
and the mind ran to never slow.

A deep breath I took,
when the black cat crossed the beautiful alley
and the autumn leaves shed to glow.

A deep breath I took,
as I plunged into the depths of unknown
and the sky and the land merged into one.

A deep breath I took,
as the mortals hung onto to the hopes
and be saved from the dark coffins of doom.

A deep breath I took,
as the seeds grew into plants and trees
and never knew its might.

A deep breath I took,
as the world wanted patience
and I had only my fast-pace to offer.

A deep breath I took,
when I sat beside the crumbles of the past
and lived two lives, now and then.

A deep breath I took,
when I craved for what not
and saw not what is.

A deep breath I took,
when I lost the depth in his eyes
and profundity in his actions.

A deep breath I took,
as i saw her cry
and knew no funny magic tricks for delight.

A deep breath I took,
as the dark words pierced through
and your two loved angels turned red.

A deep breath I took,
when the masses chatter with those intense eyes
only to abandon when panic strikes.

A deep breath I took,
as the legos did not fit
only to wait for that right moment.

A deep breath I took,
as this is what I can
and this is what I should.
